Serve with Us in this Local Mission Outreach to Our Community!
Greet clients, answer phones calls, assist with client purchases, assist staff mentors
Guide clients through Earn While You Learn Lessons
Help explain materials, provide encouragement to parents.
Offer pregnancy tests and information
Requires in office and other ongoing training.
English and Spanish speakers.
Sort/organize baby and maternity items
Launder donated baby and maternity clothes
Inventory, purchase and restock baby food and baby toiletries
Seasonal restocking and changeover of baby and maternity clothes
Clean donated baby items like car seats/swings/strollers
Safety Check and repair donated cribs, bassinets and portacribs - hands on assembly
Research the internet for assembly/usage instructions and recalls for cribs or other baby products
Variety of jobs to enable the office to function smoothly
Restock and copy office forms, curriculum
Regular office cleaning - vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, carpet cleaning
Computer maintenance
Mail work
Graphic design and web maintenance
Assist with volunteer development
Develop public awareness and publicity for Birthline through press releases, email blasts, presentation materials
Plan and/or provide hospitality for events (periodic)
Plan fundraising campaigns
Organize a Baby Bottle or Baby Shower campaign through a church, community group, family or friends
Donate or help us find needed items for clients
Cash donation or monthly commitment of financial support for rent and monthly expenses.
Volunteers will receive training and undergo a screening process.
